Leg work

It doesn’t take much to rankle myself when it comes to fashion. Most recently, I took issue with the new breed of tailored men’s trouser shorts. The ones, I say that “are cut like pants but they’re shorts”. Yes, these pants are tailored and tapered to the knee and frequently dressed up with shirts and sometimes even jackets and ties.
My initial thoughts on these are “too .. tight, too short and too.. feminine.” In fact , when tapered trouser shorts and short suits first turned up on the international runways, they were met with a no small amount of controversy.
Most laughed. Others shook their heads. Some even suggested it was offensive for men to expose their knees in public, let alone in the local university such as UTMKL. Another simply stopped, stared and offered a soft, startled “Allah!”
It could well have been you.
Should I care about your thinking? No, because I wear it in style.
